Birthday Turtle

Yesterday it had been the 30th birthday of one of my class mates...As I was invited to the party I had to get a birthday card for him. As he really liked the cards I made, I decided to make one for him too. It shouldn't be too girly though.

So I used one of Karen's images to make this amazing card:

As he is "OLD" now, I got some vicious things for his birthday, like anti-aging creme, tablets for cleaning your 3rd teeth, earplugs, and so on... So I had to do a vicious inside as well, telling him why he needs all these products now.

And this is how I wrapped everything:

Stamp: "Herbert Birthday Cupcake" & "Birthday candles" from the "Herbert Birthday Set" from Karen's Doodles
Sentiment: WordArt
Colours: Polychromos from Faber Castell
Sketch: Sweet Stop Sketches
Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilities
Embossing folder "hexagon illusion" from Craft Concepts
Papers: free digi paper from Bearly Mine Designs
Buttons, plain papers and cardstock from my stash.

I am entering the card in the following challenges:
