New York Birthday

On Friday I made a birthday card for Maria and her husband Stephan. They both turned 50 and celebrated together... As they want to fly to New York City as a birthday present to themselves I made a NYC themed birthday card for them.

Stamp: "Liberty Riley" from Riley & Company
Sentiment: DoCrafts Alphabet Dies "Abracadabra"
Ink pad black
Colours: Polychromos from Faber Castell
Sketch: Sketch Saturday (I didn't get to enter it into the challenge though)
Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilities, DoCrafts Alphabet Dies "Abracadabra", Magnolia Doohickey
Embossing folder "starry night" & "sun rays" from Craft Concepts
Plain papers and cardstock from my stash.

I am entering the card in the following challenges:

the paper shelter challenge 55 - for the boys
cute card thursday challenge 208 - happy 4th birthday
crafts and me challenge 75 - let's see circles
totally paper crafts challenge 108 - male card
ladybugs crafts ink challenge - anything goes
fun with shapes and more challenge 105 - Streifen   (I used a striped pattern for embossing the blue paper)
lothian crafts challenge 24 - 2 main colours  (red & blue)
