Today I made another card for a Karen's Doodles Challenge.
I got that cute digi image for the third place in the Monochromatic Challenge at Karen's Doddles and I had to use it right away for the next challenge...
So the stamp is from Karen's Doddles, it's called Bigsby's in love. I coloured it with my crayons again, cut it out with spellbinders nestabilites. I've added some cute wrapping paper with glittery hearts and made a heart banner with a punch. I also used some heart shaped paillettes and some buttons as the theme had been "button galore". Then I've added some stickles to frame the image. Oh, I've put some foam pads under the image and the sentiment to make it a little more 3-D.
Unfortunately my photo isn't the best this time...
But I need to go to bed now as it is very late already and I have to work tomorrow morning.
I hope you like my card!
I am going to take part in these challenges with that card:
karen's doodles challengeblog 47 - buttons galore
kaboodle doodles challenge 51 - bling it up
fab 'n funky challenge 57 - delight in your digi
stamp with sarah kay challenge 126 - love
bunny zoes crafts challenge 8 - love is in air

from Tilda with love...
This time I made a card for a challenge at Stamp with fun... The theme was brown / blue.
After thinking about what to do, I came up with this.
I've been thinking of my friend Daniela from Chile when I made this as I am still waiting for her Christmas package. It's still on it's way... Hopefully it won't get lost!
Well, this card will be in her next letter from me. I hope she loves the card.
The stamp is from Magnolia (my favourite one as I love writing and receiving letters), the paper and ribbon out of my stock. I made the flowers using some creatables from Marianne's Design and I've added some glitter glue to glitter it up. I am in love with glitter...
I am going to post this card in the following challenges:
stamp with fun challenge 95 - blue/brown
craft your passion challenge 42 - use 2 patterned papers
everybody art challenge 126 - my favourite thing

Fairy Princess
Finally I finished another project... It's for the new Challenge at Karen's Doodles "Tent Topper card", but I will enter it in other challenges as well.
The image is called "Fairy Princess" and it'S from Karen's Doodles. Then I used my spellbinder nestabilities to cut it out and make the frame... I coloured it with crayons as I still don't have any copics or promarkers. They're quite expensive, so I will have to do with my crayons for another while. But I like the colouring - it turned out great!
I cut the stars with a punch... and used little sparkling stars at the image. I topped everything with different glitter clue and sewed those star buttons on. As I love those tickets I've seen soo many times by now, I used one myself here.
I think it's the perfect card for little Marie, who will turn 2 in May.
I am entering the card in the following challenges:
karen's doodles challenge 46 - tent topper card
craft your passion challenge 41 - button up
stempeltraeume challenge 66 - knöpfe (buttons)
digi doodle shops best challenge 43 - anything goes

snow & snowflakes...
As the weatherman said that we'll get snow again on Wednesday, I made another card with a snowman and snowflakes today...
It's a lovely card and it matches perfectly with some challenges, so I am going to post them there. I hope I am going to win something one day. But as I am still new to this I don't have much hope yet.
The stamp is from Vielseidig Verlag, Then I used my spellbinder nestabilites for the pinking circles and some blueish glitter glue for the glitter around. The background is embossed with the cuttlebug and the snowflakes I did with a punch from Carla Craft.
Anyways, I am still trying to figure out to put the blinkies of the challenge blogs into my side bars... so please, be patient with me. I will get to it some time... (hopefully soon enough!) *aaaaahhhhhhh*
I hate it when things don't work out the way I want them to be.
I am going to post this card in the following challenges:

#1 Mom
Here's a card I made with one of Karen's lovely images...
I got my first 4 sets of Spellbinder Nestabilites this week and I loved using them on this card. Then I've been using the digi stamp "Flowers for mom" by Karen's Doodles. The background flowers is a stamp from Betty's creations... All the papers, the ribbon and the gems are from my stock and I have no clue where they are from. :-)
As I don't have any Copics or Promarkers yet, I am colouring my images with plain crayons... But I think they still look nice.
I hope you'll like this card. I will keep it for mother's day... and I am sure my mom will love this card!

old Christmas cards
I've made Christmas cards for my penpals each year since 1998. I still have a spare one of some years... so I want to show them to you here.
Card I made in 1999.
Card I made in 2000.
Cards I made in 2007. It's a big gap to the one before, but I don't remember which ones I did in the years between.
These are the cards from 2008. As you can see they look lovely with a light inside...
The cards I did in 2009 are only a little different... But I liked them. They had been easy to make and that had been what I needed after my trip to Australia and Christmas beeing so close already.
And last but not least, the card I did last Christmas... I loved that elk stamp and embossing paper with the cuttle bug...
Now I got a few more stamps and spellbinder nestabilities and I hope to create some absolutely lovely cards soon... Whenever I have time in between writing letters to my pen pals.

my first challenge
This is the card I made for my first challenge.
I love Karen's digi stamps. They're soo cute!
As I am still new to this kind of crafting I don't have much knowledge yet, but I am going to change that soon. I'll be using this card for my friends birthday now and I am sure she will love it!
I will be "finishing" my blog tomorrow or the day after with adding links and a little profile... I will also show you some older cards I've been making.
