Dwarf 60th birthday

Here's a card I made for the birthday party of my uncle today. He turned 60 on Monday and today is the big celebration day...
I hope he likes his dwarf.

(Monday) Well, he absolutely loved his card! He laughed when he first looked at it  -  "he looks like me..." is what he said then.

50th birthday

Here's a card for a family friend that's turning 50 today.
As he's always trying to annoy me with snide remarks, he's getting kind of an evil birthday card now...

The texts means something like that:

Georg is getting older now and his bottom is getting colder and colder. Therefore he is getting some cinder so that the fire is burning briskly to keep the apartment warm so that it is nice there in winter as well and then Karin will stay at home with him more often.

His present had been a big palett full of firewood (in the right size for his chimney)...

Liam's Christening

Birthday Balloon

I hadn't been able to do much crafting & blogging in the the last couple of weeks as I had a lot to do at work. We've had our annual certification according to the Internation Food Standard (IFS) and there had been soo many things to prepare and to train the new staff members in our new department... So I hardly had any free time at all. :-( Anyways, we passed with a good result and that's the most important!

This card had been planned as a DT project for the current "Happy Birthday" challenge over at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge Blog but I wasn't able to finish it on time... so I am just posting it here now...
