Penguin's Winter Fun

Today I could finally find some time to craft again... Well, I had been crafting in the past couple of days as well, but I had been doing the same Christmas card 36 times so far.
So here's another winter card, Christmas card.

Sentiment: Penny Black
Ink pad in black, white and light bue
Colours: Polychromos from Faber Castell, Decorative Chalk from Joy Crafts
Sketch: Whiff of Joy
Dies: Magnolia Doohickey
Punch: snowflake punch-around-the-page from Martha Stewart
Charm: snowflake from Pink Gem Designs
Paper: snowflakes fromAvec "Colours Unlimited"
Ribbon, glittery snowflake, stickles, plain papers and cardstock from my stash.

When I look at a photo with a Christmas tree I always think about a white Christmas with lots of snow, so that I can have a lot of fun outside... Unfortunately it is hardly ever snowing at Christmas over here. But my card show's the way it should be  -  my dream of a white Christmas with lots of fun.

I used the white colour and the snowman as inspiration to create this lovely fun in the snow card.

    You did a lovely job with this card, Melanie. The image is super sweet, and you put it together very nicely. I know just what you mean about winter/Christmas. I was raised in Minnesota, but now live in Las Vegas. So, in my mind - it SHOULD be white outside even though that's not the case for my Christmases any more. My heart always goes home for Christmas - even when my body cannot. Thanks for sharing this card with us in the Merry Christmas Challenge at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge Blog. We really hope you will play along with us again. Your work is very nice.
