Favourite song
As music is a big part of my life, I do have many favourite songs...
The one I made this card to is "From Sarah with love" from Sarah Connor. You can listen to it here, if you don't know it.
I am entering the card in the following challenges:
Soccer ball from Rayher
Ribbon, gems, stickles, plain papers and cardstock from my stash.
Movie Inspiration:
I got inspired by the movie "Deutschland - ein Sommermärchen" (Germany: a summer's fairy tale). A movie about the German national soccer team during the World Championship 2006 here in Germany. It's not only about the soccer team, but also the atmosphere all over Germany. Since that World Championship the Germans wear their national colours with pride again... even though we didn't make it to the World Champion!
Favourite Song:
Usually I am not a soccer girl, but when the fifa World Cup had been here in Germany I had been watching sooo many games. That's also when this song was released: '54 '74 '90 2006.
I know it's a German song and not many of you can understand it, so I will tell you a little about it. The Germans had been soccer world champions in 1954, 1974 and 1990 and as they really wanted to win the championship "at home" the Sportfreunde Stiller came up with that song. It could be downloaded for free and the radios had been playing it all the time. Well, they sing about the team and that it had been a miracle 1954, good luck 1974 and the well earned price 1990 when they won the championship; and they aren't the best technicians when it comes to playing soccer, but they have their heart in their hands and passion in their legs and with that they're going to win...
When Italy kicked our team out in the semifinals, they changed the text over night into '54 '74 '90 2010 and sang about the next oportunity in South Africa. With this song they also welcomed our team in Berlin.
Unfortunately I missed the deadline on the "Colours of your national flag" challenge...

Here's my second Guest DT creation for Take Time for You for the theme blue & white.
I loved this Snowflake Fairy since I first saw her... so I had to get her immediately, unfortunately I couldn't use her before. But I think she's perfect for a blue & white project!
Today I had finally been able to craft another card, after getting the good news that I am accepted for the Design Team at Penny's Challenges. I am really looking forward to it... The first challenge I will be creating something as a DT will start on February 1st. So it's my last chance to join their challenge...
I've been using one of my new digis from the Emerald Faeries Garden. They're sooo cute!
I will be sending this card to one of my pen pals for her birthday and I really hope that she will like the colours yellow and green...
